Nach mehreren Gesprächen hat er gestern Abend endlich ja gesagt! Jim Semple kommt aus beruflichen Gründen ab Herbst für ca. ein Jahr in die Schweiz. Und wir haben die Gelegenheit genutzt und ihn als Lehrer und Pipe Major für die Black Sheep Pipers verpflichtet.
Wir begegneten Jim vor vielen Jahren als Judge an den Highland Games in St. Ursen. Später war er unser Teacher in der Winter School Homburg. Seit dem sind wir immer in Kontakt geblieben.
Wer ist Jim Semple: Former member of Strathclyde Police Pipe Band, winning 6 world championships. RSPBA Adjudicator, former Pipe Major of Linlithgow and District winning back to back Champion of Champions with the band and former tutor to The Royal Oman Police currently teaching in schools in Glasgow.
Lieber Jim, vielen vielen Dank für diese Chance. Wir freuen uns schon sehr auf diese sicher intensive, aber sehr lehrreiche Zeit.
After several discussions he finally said yes last night! From autumn Jim Semple will stay for professional reasons for one year in Switzerland. We took that chance to get his agreement, that he will teach us and be our Pipe Major during his stay.
We met Jim the first time as Judge at the Competitions in St. Ursen. Later he was our teacher at the Winter School in Homburg. Since then we have been in contact.
